Seems foolish to have to drop back to a lesser standard (USB 3.1 Gen 1) to use Oculus Link. With the kind of bandwidth that Oculus Link takes you would think Oculus would be climbing all over themselves to ensure compatibility with the latest USB standards and embrace every little improvement in it. Can anyone confirm that the issue is the ASMedia chipset and not specific MB implementations and/or drivers? If it's the chipset this is concerning. Any one else seeing this? All the 3.1 Gen 1 ports work correctly but for some reason the Oculus software thinks the USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports are USB 2.0. I have a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port on the back of my motherboard and when I attempt to plug in the cable I have that works on my USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports the Oculus software says I've plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and that USB 3.0 is required. So I've opened a ticket with Oculus on this but I was curious to see if anyone else is seeing issues similar to mine.
